That's the braised mushrooms with dried scallops, brocolli n carrots I cooked for the dinner yesterday...Mika arranged the carrots! Nice?
It was raining cats n dogs yesterday evening when we were on our way to May's place...phew!...it took us an hour plus to get to Bangsar from my house which normally takes 20mins!
Still drizzling when we reached there. We got most of the food n drinks prepared n May's baby ribs bak kut teh with assorted mushrooms was brewing on the stove. Having nothing to do next, we sat n chat...then suddenly had mahjong in mind. We swiftly set up the table n get down to it without wasting any time. I cant remember when was the last time the 3 of us...May, Su May n me sat down together for those crazy mahjong sessions...but definitely ages ago! We 'gambled' outside as it was breezy after it rained...while waiting for the rest to reach.
Me absorbed in mahjong n my little darling engrossed in XBox...no disturbance from him at all...but me no win *sigh* no luck n guess I'm slow n not smart when it comes to mahjong...n havent been playing for a long long time! Anyway, it's just for good fun...and we really had!
And that's us, the 3 mahjong kaki-s with Aaron. For dinner, we had the piping hot bak kut teh, crunchy roasted pork from Village Grocers...absolutely yummy!, braised scallop with brocolli and omelette with wakame. It was a cool & windy evening...so it was really comfortable having our dinner, mahjong, drinks n chat out on the patio. Didnt take any pics during the dinner as I was busy eating n quickly hopped back to my 'game' after that! So potty!
We sang n ate the birthday cake before 12am so that all of us could get back to home sweet home early for it's a working n schooling day today! Needless to say, Mika had a good time...my friends took turns to challenge him and he loves their company a lot...or maybe he loves the XBox more!
Right now, he's having his snooze...n me wanna catch yesterday's episode of the Drive of life after this...so it's TATA for now!
