...and great performances by the kids at the musical celebration of 40 excellent years at Mika's school last Saturday. I was mesmerized by the performance from the choir group. They sang a medley of golden classic songs like Top of the world, What a wonderful world, Yellow Bird n lots more. It was a delightful rendition from the 6yo kids!
My little darling performed in a story telling of the cat, the dog and the mouse. Next was A better world...where he acted as a rapper with a red cap and then A salute to the sailors...where he enjoyed the marching n the salutes!
All the costumes was handmade by their teachers...and we dont have to pay for the costumes except RM17 for the shoes which they got from S'pore. Huge effort was put in by all for this final concert especially the principal n the music teacher on the choreography. Really a job well done! Luckily I have ordered a dvd and I can watch it over again soon. It was truly an impressive performance by the pre-schoolers...a near flawless show!
There was a special tunnel set up to display the artwork done by the kids according to themes at the entrance hall...it was a pretty sight, very colourful and nice. Mika received a lovely box of gifts and a certificate from Sister Teresa that nite. And also a beautiful card from his class teacher, Mrs Puspa.

I think I will be so touched and cry when one day I sit in front as spectator watching my son perform. Big boy and a proud moment indeed heh...

Oh... "you raise me up" is one of my favourite song! I think it would sounds really beautiful when snag out by all the lil ones. Must be touch!
