Was busy cleaning n washing last few days...and now it's all spick n span! Yay! Bought some lovely deco from At Home. Just simple ones that're not too CNY. We chose FISHES! So, it stays even after the celebration! Fish(Yu) is one of the 8 buddhist symbols of good fortune...
That's the 60 fishes that are hanging up nicely. It's so colourful. Nice?
Mika's pair of fighting fish, Fii n Shi. They are part of our 68 fishes in our house!
Apart from fishes, Mika picked the 12 chinese zodiac animals deco which is just hung on the lamp! He loves it! And he loves the snake. Just because he's born in that year! I like the dog! Ha ha ha!
To make it 68 fishes which sounds more auspicious for the lunar new year...we got these from a kiosk at GE Mall. Here's the family of 6 fishes 'swimming' prettily. I want to frame them up later!
60 are hanging plus the family of 6 plus 2 real fishes equals 68! Hope it's going to be a healthy n prosperous year of the rat for us!
Everyone's getting those bamboo plants. And I did too. Very popular as a symbol of life, longevity n strength.
The front door to our home. I love those tiny weeny pink flowers. Got another with yellow flowers too. Mom said blooming flowers are must-haves during the lunar new year. I like...it makes the house so cheery n happy...
Great. Everything's done! For now...just waiting to 'balik kampung'!

Wah! Your hse looks so festive..make me malu only. I didn't even decorate or clean my hse for CNY.
