Mika n I joined little Aidan n family to Malacca on the 1st weekend of the school holidays. We stayed at Grace's resort home at Orna Golf & Country Club. Mika had a funstastic time playing with his new friends, Agatha n Titus. The kids kept themselves occupied with toys, cycling and playing basketball. And us the adults were blissfully idle...for a change.
A bbq dinner on sat nite and the food was yummy...uncle Desmond did a good job bbq-ing the lamb, salmon, chicken, prawns, corn n lots more. I was busy eating...so didnt snap many pictures.
The weather was great n the kids had a superdy fun time paddling in the pool. We spent most of the time at the resort as it's located quite far from town. We took the kids for a quick tour around some historical places in town n had a delicious nyonya lunch before heading home on sunday. It's a nice n relaxing short getaway...thanks to Grace n family for having the whole bunch of us over for the weekend.
Next, we headed back to my parents' a day after we got back from Malacca. Just a short stay this time but Mika got to spent quality time with his cousins and my parents. Everyone was glad to see him...and me of course! and commented that Mika has put on a lot of weight, very chubby n round!
In the evenings, the boys played gliders n football in the garden. My poor boy got bitten by lots of mosquitoes! I forgot to bring home the repellant!
We enjoyed our stay in Ipoh though it was just for 3days. Mika was happy being there, especially with his cousins around. And me managed to catch up with my good ol friend over lunch while my mum took care of Mika. The boys turned the house upside down...but my mum loved their company plus...the deafening noise they made, the laughter they roared n the fights they had! I love my mummy!!
Got back to our home sweet home on thursday...at least some time for us to rest n relax before school starts. On Sunday, I met up with Chumsy's mom at Starbucks, Hartamas SC together with our friend from Ipoh. It was great to see her and of course her cutey princess, lil Ashley.
It's back to school for Mika today...n back to same old routine for ME! *sigh* That's my life!

School hols over? Just started here..but no difference for us 'cos Belle's daycare is open during summer hols.
