This was a last minute outing last saturday...my aunt and family wanted to visit the zoo. So, since they're here all the way from Bukit Rimau, we decided to join them with my sister n her boys. Yeah, didnt get to sleep in! Mika n I rushed to McD for some take-away breakfast and we vroom-ed to the zoo next. Mika ate his Egg McMuffin on the way there...cannot wait...he's hungry!
Phew!...we're not late...just right on time! Managed to catch some mini shows n the weather was perfect for outdoor that day. Mika had a swell time with his cousins and with my cousins too. We took a train-ride n got off at the Ape Centre...it was feeding time and the kids were so excited...looking at the apes n orang utans! Took a walk out after that. The zoo still looks very much the same and nothing to really shout about! And the animals looked kinda lazy too!
Lucky us...when we left the zoo n got into the car heading for lunch...it started to rain...heavy! We had a quick Yong Tow Foo lunch together before saying goodbye...I was actually rushing cos I need to give Mika a nap before we go to a birthday party that evening.
My little darling was so worn out after lunch but he was at his best behaviour that day...a no-stress n fun outing for me too. And it was nice meeting my aunt and her family...especially little Wei Jien!
