Su May's Birthday

We celebrated Su May's birthday at Marketplace, off Jalan Yap Kwan Seng on thursday nite. We had a hearty dinner...started off with a trio selection of baby potato salad w bacon chips, rocket salad n sundried tomatoes with preference of dressings and tube pasta salad with pineapple for starters. All very yummylicious. Mika loved the potato salad. We ordered a potato n leek soup for him while we waited for the main meal to be served.

We had a delicious variety of lobsters, prawns, salmon, seabass n squid on the bbq seafood platter and yummy tender lamb loin, beef steak, ribeye and chicken on the meat platter which went well with the wines that Leonie brought.

After that we adjourned to the lounge upstairs...a very comfy n relaxed atmosphere. We chatted, booze-d n had a great time playing those silly drinking games which we used to play 8 or 10yrs ago. So much fun, gales of laughter and most of all so happy to gather again like those good old days with my bunch of very close friends. We get on marvellously. Mika enjoyed the evening as much as I did. He loves their good company. We party-ed till late, yes very late around 2am and Mika missed school the next day...I know ME a bad mummy but it's a once in a blue moon thing...moreover the kids are busy rehearsing for the school's annual concert and not so much of work!

It was indeed a booze-y nite out for me and a happy nite out for my little darling. I wasnt drunk cos I have to get home with my darling safe n sound. A rare old time was had by all...

Got to go now...we are going for korean bbq tonite. And we are running late...nevermind, blame it on the rain! Anyway it's just nearby...at the korean town in Ampang Avenue.
